Do animals posess a zen-like emptiness? By seeing nothing, do they see beyond our petty cares and our overburdening fixations?

so I'm having a hard time procrastinating when people don't update their blogs regularly... wtf am I supposed to do? actually work on writing papers? more pics of the kitties, less work please.
